This is SeaLife’s most technologically advanced underwater camera, featuring an Easy Set-up mode, that make it a snap to set up and capture stunning photos.
This graphic on-screen guide takes the guess work out of setting up the camera for great pictures on land or underwater. The DC1000 includes four new specially designed underwater modes that make it simple and easy to take perfect pictures regardless of water conditions.
Similar in look to it’s much heralded predecessor, the DC1000 keeps the sleek modern design and rugged handling characteristics of the DC800. Capture the beauty of the world beneath the waves in super-clear, high-resolution images taken up to 200 feet underwater.
The camera’s new SLR-like design, large shutter button, and well-spaced mode buttons make the camera more ergonomic and user friendly. Other features include face-detection, anti-shake and aperture/shutter priority. Versatility is key, as users can take striking photographs just about anywhere. External Flash Modes allow you to change settings with auto mode or manually for best results.
Sea mode has 4 UW color correction settings (Oceans Blue, Oceans Green and Rivers/Lakes). Use External Flash Auto mode for automatic exposure settings or External Flash Manual mode for manual aperture and shutter speed exposure control. In Spy Mode the camera automatically shoots continuous pictures at set time intervals.
The DC1000 is expandable with one or two SeaLife flashes, wide angle optical lens 28mm to 112mm film equivalent, and others; the rugged external housing is rubber armored for durability and a sure grip; and the inner camera is a convenient pocket size when removed from its housing for use on land.
