SeaLife’s new DC1200 pushes the envelope on diver-friendly design, and it’s four underwater color modes make underwater photography even easier than before.
Instead of the usual cluster of button controls on the back of the camera, SeaLife has replaced them with five thumb operated “piano key” controls. There is also a large shutter button that extends forward with a fingertip-control lever allowing scrolling through menus and zooming in or out without releasing your grip on the camera
The graphic, on-screen setup guide takes the guess work out of setting up the camera for great pictures on land or underwater, and the four underwater “sea modes” have built in color correction making it easy to take perfect pictures regardless of water conditions.
There is an External Flash Auto mode for automatic exposure settings when using one or two external flash accessories, plus Manual mode for manual aperture and shutter speed exposure control, making this digital camera ideal for underwater photographers at all skill levels.
Like it’s predecessors, the DC1200 has a sleek SLR-like ergonomic design coupled with a rugged housing designed for tough handling, even at 200’ of depth. And of course, it’s expandable with SeaLife’s popular line of underwater accessories, including the Digital Pro External Strobes and wide angle lens.
